Ia hampir tidak memiliki teman disekolahnya, dan iapun sering di bully oleh teman – teman sekolahnya. Benjamin sendiripun sebenarnya memendam perasaan pada temannya; Hannah Herzsprung. Kemampuannya dalam komputerpun membuatnya berkenalan dengan Max ( Elyas M'Braek ) yang memiliki misi untuk meretas situ – situs yang ada di dunia, akan tetapi Max membutuhkan tenaga Benjamin untuk mempermulus misi rahasianya itu. Benjamin-pun menerima tawarannya tersebut, disana benjamin bertemu dengan 2 orang teman Max lainnya, mereka adalah Stephen dan Paul. Lalu mereka menamai diri mereka sendiri dengan sebutan CLAY yang merupan singkatan dari Clowns Laughing At You. Mereka berempatpun memiliki tujuan untuk meretas sistem keamanan dan membuat lelucon tentang keuangan di dunia. Akan tetapi aktivitas mereka-pun menarik perhatian dari Europol (Europe Interpol) yang dikepalai oleh Hanne Lindberg.
